The S217 is a beautifully made reproduction of a pre-war motoring accessory. Equivalent to the original Lucas part number S217. Handmade from brass with original finish options of gloss black with chrome-plated fittings, or all chrome. Also available in special polished brass or nickel-plated finishes. Marchal and Raydhot offered very similar pivoting searchlights during this period. Customer Michel Vock has kindly provided photos of the lamp mounted to the windscreen pillar of his 1924 Bentley 3-litre.
As you can see Michel has done a very neat installation, complete with a stainless steel braided cover to the cable that looks superb.
