The Toby Torpedo lamp, made to the same design for over 50 years.
This is a fantastic recreation of the original CAV pattern lamp. The thick bull’s-eye glass lens is held in place by a knurled brass rim and the tapered body is soldered on to a bronze investment cast base. The body is spun from copper in order to achieve the fine point of the original lamps.

Description

The lamps are nickel or chromium plated and fitted with a Toby medallion in a matching finish on top. The lamps feature a double contact bulb holder as standard, so can be used as a regular sidelight or as a sidelight with a white indicator.
The ideal solution is to fit one of our new dual-function LED bulbs featuring white light for position marking with a super bright amber for indicator function. This smart bulb cuts the white light when using amber so that the two functions are not competing. The LED solution also draws much less current from the car’s battery.

The unit features a spun and polished aluminium reflector for maximum light output.
Nickel plating gives a slightly warmer, more golden appearance than chromium plating (Photos show the chrome lamp)
12v Bulb options:
Single Filament (sidelight only) – 5w SBC BA15D (small 19mm globe)
Double Filament (sidelight & US style white indicator) – 21/5w SBC BA15D (small 19mm globe)
LED Combination White & Amber – (6v & 12v) – SBC BA15D CSILEDWW
NOTE: 12v bulbs will be supplied unless 6v is requested in the order notes.
